Program Description:

New Zealand offers an ideal context for hands-on, multi-disciplinary studies with its rich cultural traditions, diverse ecosystems, expansive natural areas, mild climate, and history of innovative approaches to resource management. Working closely with an accomplished corps of professors, field leaders and guest lecturers, EcoQuest students have the opportunity to develop practical knowledge and field skills while contributing to ongoing research efforts to help restore New Zealand.

All EcoQuest programs promote conceptual thinking, applied and integrated science, and multi-disciplinary approaches to environmental and resource management issues. Program delivery takes place in a variety of ecosytems, ranging from the mountains to the sea.

EcoQuest is committed to a sustainable world, a vision that includes the natural environment, as well as the people and their cultural and socio-economic needs.

Please visit the EcoQuest website for further program information.
