Staff Margaret Walter
Margaret Walter joined the Education Abroad team in January 2016. Previously, Margaret worked in the study abroad office at Fordham University and in the College of Global Studies at Arcadia University, and held brief stints in UVA’s Office of the Dean of Students and the Office of Undergraduate Admission upon relocating to Charlottesville. Previous international experience includes study abroad in Madrid and Cambridge, short-term experiences in Panama and Nicaragua, and a summer work-abroad program in London. At Arcadia, Margaret managed programs in New Zealand, Tanzania, and South Africa, as well as England, France, and Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (with a focus on the Middle East) from Fordham University and Master’s in International Education from the SIT Graduate Institute.
